By downloading or using Electrum Bitcoin (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Independent App
Electrum Bitcoin is independently developed and operated by DizPay Technology. No affiliation, endorsement, sponsorship, or maintenance relationship with any other Bitcoin wallet software or project is claimed or implied.
2. Nature of the App
The App is an iOS-only, watch-only Bitcoin application for iPhone. It displays public balances and transaction history for Bitcoin addresses you add. The App does not create, import, store, or use private keys or seed phrases, and it cannot sign or send Bitcoin transactions.
3. Your Responsibilities
- You are responsible for verifying that any Bitcoin address you add is correct.
- You understand that public blockchain data is supplied through external services and may be delayed, incomplete, or temporarily unavailable.
- You will not use the App for unlawful purposes.
- Safeguarding any keys or funds associated with watched addresses remains your responsibility outside the App.
4. No Financial Advice
Information shown in the App, including Bitcoin balances and transaction history, is provided for informational purposes only and is not investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice.
5. External Services
The App may rely on blockchain data services and public networks to retrieve Bitcoin balances and transaction history. Availability, completeness, and accuracy of those services are outside the App’s control.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DizPay Technology is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of digital assets, data, profits, or goodwill arising from use of the App.
8. Changes and Termination
These Terms may be modified, or the App may be discontinued, at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. You may stop using the App at any time and remove locally stored watch wallets from the App.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
